From the archives — an editorial portrait session with Jimmy Hunt, created around his Live More Awesome project and TEDx talk on depression.
From the archives: back in 2014 I first met Jimmy while working as the official photographer for TEDx Auckland, where he gave a talk on his Live More Awesome project highlighting the subject of depression.
Jimmy later reached out for a portrait session that would cover a few different needs — an editorial image for a Remix Magazine article, a clean headshot for his agent, and some space simply to have fun and play in front of the camera. We did exactly that, creating a mix of relaxed portraits, editorial-style images, and more expressive frames that reflected both his work and his personality.
